A description of all stages of work in the system of three-dimensional modeling compass-3D is given. The methods for constructing sketches and performing form -forming operations are considered in detail. A separate chapter is devoted to the construction of standardized places of parts and the details themselves using the compass-3D libraries built into the compass-3D system. Particular attention is paid to the special capabilities of the compass-3D system: the purpose of variables, applying volumetric text, performing mirror and sheet parts, creating foundry forms and foundry preparations of parts. The rules for performing the assembly unit model and creating its visual presentation with the spacing of components are described in detail. All sections are equipped with appropriate examples with step -by -step consideration of the material. The compact disk contains a demo version of the compass-3D V9 system and the distributions of the compass-3D LT and compass-3D Viewer systems.
