The book considers a new direction in the social sciences – agent -oriented modeling, which involves the development of computer models, which include a fairly large set of agents with a certain set of properties for simulations of various phenomena. The ultimate goal of creating such models is to track the influence of the fluctuation of agents acting at the micro level on the indicators of the macro level.
The main attention is paid to the description of the developed agent -oriented models considering various aspects of the activities of people – members of artificial societies. In the first case, members of artificial societies decide on the search for work, and in the second case, on the method of distributing their budget. In both cases, decisions are made depending on the signals sent by the economic system.
