In the book, general information is given about the structure and permissible lengths of cable lines of various subsystems of the SCS with the main options for its implementation.
The requirements for the dimensions, equipment and environmental conditions for technical rooms, as well as to the cable routes of the horizontal and main subsystems of the SCS, are considered, options for their design at the architectural phase of design are offered.
The calculation schemes are presented by the quantities and selection of the parameters of individual components of the horizontal and trunk subsystems of the SCS on the telecommunication phase of design work.
The principles of setting the characteristics of installation equipment for various purposes and the methodology for calculating its dimensions and quantity are substantiated.
Additionally, the issues of design documentation, fire safety and construction of cable wiring for secure networks were raised.
An example of design using the developed methodology is given.
