The book includes translations into Russian of two works of the outstanding philosopher and church figure of the 15th century. Nikolai Kuzansky (1401-1464), performed by V.V. Bibikhin. The first of them, the dialogue “Game in the ball” (1462-1463), belongs to the late period of the work of Nikolai Kuzansky. In it, he reveals the symbolic meaning of the game he invented in the ball, develops the original doctrine of the world as an intermediary between temporary and eternal, as well as the theory of archetypal and exemplary, demonstrating with their help compatibility with Christian dogma, primarily with faith in Jesus Christ and St. Trinity, natural philosophical hypotheses about the eternity of the world and the world soul.
