The manual considers a phonemic analysis as one of the working operations of coding the word. The author’s technology for teaching first -graders is proposed to phonemic analysis, which does not violate the psychological mechanisms of writing.
The three principles of Russian spelling are described in detail – phonetic, morphological and traditional. In the process of teaching schoolchildren, the author calls to carry out a phonemic analysis as a working operation of coding – by ear without support on the visual image of the word, it is imperative to finish the phonemic analysis of the recording of the word and its spelling pronunciation, give only the point characteristics necessary to solve a particular graphorphographic problem.
The manual gives the rules for compiling schemes that allow to fix the phonemic composition of the word.
