The textbook is part of the CMC in the Russian language for the 6th grade of a comprehensive school (edited by S. I. Lvova). Its distinguishing features are orientation to intensive speech and intellectual development of students, the connection of the native language with other school subjects. The textbook is built in such a way that each lesson of the Russian language becomes a lesson in the development of speech. The content of the textbook complies with the new educational standard in the Russian language.
Reference materials (appendix to the textbook) necessary for performing exercises are published by a separate publication in the form of a third part.
